November

Vince gets in front of the camera to help local filmmaker Travis Cluff with his film Gold Fools.

"A Grand Day Out" (Sweded) and "It's a Mad, Glad, Sad, Bad World" screen at Swede Fest 6. The festival is standing room only, again (175+).

The Angry Filmmaker Survival Guide Tour stops in Fresno. Kelley Baker (The Angry Filmmaker) and Jon Gann(DC Shorts Film Festival) speak to local filmmakers and lovers about the art of low-budget filmmaking. Vince is interviewed by Alex Delgado on KSEE24's "Central Valley Today" about the lecture series and more.

Saturday, October 30

  • The film festival screenings take place in a conference room at the back of Timberloft Pizzeria.
  • Screenings go from 10am - 10pm.
  • Filmmakers reconvene at the Tenaya Lodge for the awards ceremony at 10:30pm.
  • A few filmmakers stick around afterward for drinks and conversation.

Friday, October 29

  • A meet and greet at the Tenaya Lodge.
  • Complimentary cheese and wine.
  • "Fresno" filmmakers were well represented.

Vince and his wife Kristin head to Yosemite to attend the 2010 Yosemite International Film Festival being held at the Tenaya Lodge. Vince Cosentino receives an Official Commendation for Excellence in Screenwriting for Beaten Path.

Donald Munro of The Fresno Beehive has a nice blog post about Vince, Jessika, and the Yosemite Film Festival.

Jessika and Vince hit two television/webcast shows on Central Valley Talk to plug their films, "Appellation" and Beaten Path, respectively, and the 2010 Yosemite International Film Festival. The first show of the day was "Central Valley Buzz" with Chuck Leonard. The second show was "Seriously!" with Mike Wirtz.

Vince also worked on a swede of "A Grand Day Out" with his 5-year old son, Jimmy for the festival.

The most recent cut of Beaten Path is screened for Stephen Carter. He is doing a superb job on the score. SparkleJet and Joe Rosato, Jr. are also contributing to this fantastic soundtrack.

Xavier Ybarra and George Ohan request that Vince Cosentino help shoot a short video for returning veterans.

The screenplay for Beaten Path is an Official Selection at the 2010 Yosemite International Film Festival.

August

Editing continues on Beaten Path.

Vince Cosentino receives the Game Day Employee of the Year award for his work as the Video Director for the Fresno Grizzlies at Chukchansi Park.

July

Beaten Path Director, Vince Cosentino, attends the Action on Film International Film Festival in Pasadena, CA. He goes in support of local filmmakers Matt Sconce, Jessika Satori, and Troy Ruff. Vince was AD on Jessika's short film, "Appellation."

May

Fresno Famous releases its faux awards for Swede Fest 5. Vince Cosentino is awarded Best Actor for his portrayal of Jake LaMotta in Raging Bull (Sweded). It is always nice to be recognized for the work that you do, even when it is just for fun.

May 8, 2010 marked the day for the Swede Fest 5 screening. It was reported that approximately 170 people attended the screening. Vince Cosentino's entry was Raging Bull (Sweded). It featured Mark, Jim, and Vince Cosentino with voice talent from Jimmy Cosentino.

February

The Lookee Loo Showdown Showcase #2 screens "The Retainer," produced and directed by Vince Cosentino. It is the only entry in the challenge that is completed on time. The screening takes place at the Revue with a very nice crowd on hand.

January 2010

The elements for Lookee Loo Showdown #2 are released January 23, 2010. Vince Cosentino is slated to produce and direct the project. Working side by side again with Vince are Bryan Harley, Roque Rodriguez, Andrew Toschi, Michael Banti. and Matt Crum jumped in the fire this go 'round.

"Once Upon a Time in the West (Sweded)" is awarded a Swedie for Best Cinematography.

Vince Cosentino's entry, "Once Upon a Time in the West (Sweded)" is screened at Swede Fest 4. It was standing room only at The Starline. Special thanks to Jimmy Cosentino, Jim Cosentino, and Steve Carter for their participation in the Swede.

"The Lycanthropes" is screened at the Lookee Loo Showdown Showcase. The short film was written, produced, and directed by Vince Cosentino of VINDAWOP PRODUCTIONS.

The LLS was a seven day filmmaker challenge. "The Lycanthropes" was one of only five entries to be completed by the deadline.

Vince of Vindawop Productions is interviewed by Marc Lutz from The Business Journal about filmmaking and filmmakers in Fresno. We are very excited and honored to be included in an article which highlighted some of Fresno's premiere filmmakers.

"La Bamba - Sweded" is screened at the 2009 Fresno Swede Festival and comes away with three awards* including Best Picture. Congratulations to Kristin Cosentino for being awarded Best Supporting Actress and Jimmy Cosentino for scoring his second award in as many festivals with the Best Supporting Actor award.

April

A roughcut of Beaten Path is screened for some local filmmakers and receives positive reviews. The final cut continues to be shaped with some of their suggestions put into place.

February

Keep your eyes peeled for two new videos online from Terril Cross.

We just shot a performance video for Dawny Reb, who is putting the finishing touches on a new CD at Roger Perry's studio.

The Trailer Park Tornadoes are at it again. It's a different lineup with some new songs. Be on the lookout for two new videos, soon.

VINDAWOP PRODUCTIONS shoots performance video for the sleepover disaster's CD release party for their lastest album,"Hover."
